Charles Kenneth Frick, 66, of Beech Creek, KY, died December 17, 2017, at his home.
Born on October 3, 1951, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Ubric and Betty Bedenbaugh Frick. He was a graduate of Chapin High School Class of 1969. Mr. Frick attended Midlands Tech and Tennessee Tech where he earned degrees in Civil Engineering Technology and also completed the apprenticeship program at TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) for generator operations and later retired from the TVA. He was a member the NRA and also Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his former wife and friend, Elizabeth “Libby” Frick; a step-son, Mike (Christi) Shell; a step-daughter, Kathy Shell-Whitney; lifelong friend and cousin, Kathie (Guy) Rister; aunts, uncles and other cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church by the Rev. Bobby Morris. Memorials may be made to the Muhlenberg County Humane Society, PO Box 164, Greenville, KY 42345.
