MSGT Charles Strickland Pagan, US Air Force, Retired, 93, of Newberry, widower of Ann Elizabeth Simon Pagan, died March 8, 2022.

Born on September 4, 1928 in Erie, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph and Catherine Crowley Pagan.

Mr. Pagan retired from the United States Air Force where he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Pagan loved playing golf and working in his yard.

He is survived by sons, Charles R. Pagan and his wife, Robbin of Lexington, Hurlick S. Pagan of Beech Island, and Thomas H. Pagan of Newberry; grandchildren, Charles Pagan, Keri Pagan, and Shawn Pagan; great-grandchildren, Aaden Martin, Thomas Frye, and Gwen Pagan.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, March 11, 2022 in the Woodridge Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
