Charles Wayne Wilson, 78, formerly of Pomaria, widower of Lois Lever Wilson, died, Saturday, June 3, 2023 at his residence.

Born on May 23, 1945 in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late James William and Elizabeth Bowen Wilson. He was a member of the Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene. Wayne enjoyed people watching and spending time with his friends, his four legged friend, Ringo and especially his grandson, Stone.

He is survived by his son, Jody Wilson and his wife Tiffany of Columbia; his sister, Belvia Bellomy and her husband Jim of Winnsboro; his grandson, Stone Wilson; and a brother-in-law, William Lever.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Harry Varn. Burial will follow in the Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene, 650 Ninth Street, Winnsboro, SC 29180.

Active pall bearbearers will be Todd Lever, Benjie Cromer, Bran Cromer, Dean Long, and Brad Bellomy.
