Chauncey Schmidt

Chauncey Thomas Schmidt, 30, of Newberry, widower of Kandace Schmidt, died February 21, 2025 at his home.

Born on June 23, 1994 in Greenwood, he was the son of Mark Gerald Schmidt and Lonita Avery Schmidt.

Chauncey loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his parents of Newberry; a son, Dominic Alexander Schmidt of Newberry; his grandmother, Patricia Whipple of Newberry; and uncles, Brad Schmidt and Michael Schmidt.
