Chris Folk Lominick, 78, of Pomaria, widower of Ellen Wise Lominick, passeed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2025, at his home.
Born on April 13, 1946, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Olin Lominick, Sr. and Mary Folk Lominick. He was the owner of Lominick Painting and was a member of St. Philip's Lutheran Church where he was a Golden Ager.
Chris is survived by a son, Chad C. Lominick of Columbia; a step-son, Ryan Griffin of St. Matthews; a step-daughter, Jennifer Griffin of Myrtle Beach; sisters, Jane Ringer of Newberry and Dianne Lominick of Pomaria; brothers, Olin “Hub” (Ann) Lominick, Jr. of Pomaria and his twin brother, Bobby (Jennylee) Lominick of Newberry; step-grandchildren, Cole Griffin and Cameron Griffin and his caregivers, his former wife, Vicki Lominick, Earl Thomasson and Mary McConnell. His canine companion, Bella, his feline companions, PP, Callie and Jo Jo and his parrot, Puddin.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 5, 2025, at St. Philip's Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Terry Amick. The family will receive friends following the service. Viewing will be available Saturday from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
