Clara F. Chapman

Clara Roberta Floyd Chapman, 92, of Prosperity, widow of Bearl Franklin Chapman, died Saturday, April 23, 2022, at White Oak Manor.

Born on April 4, 1930, in Port Gibson, MS, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Eugene and Clara Roberta Willis Floyd.  She was a retired accountant and a member of Prosperity First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Chapman is survived by sons, Kenneth Franklin (Karen) Chapman of Prosperity and Bradley David (Rona) Chapman of Nebraska; a daughter, Sheila Gay (Daniel) Walsh of WI; a sister, Estelle Beaver of MS; a brother, Ervin (Pat) Floyd of TN; grandchildren, Kenneth Eugene Chapman, Luke Chapman, Taylor Barrata, Connor Chapman, Makayla Walsh and Breanna Walsh.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Prosperity by the Rev. Henry Funkhouser. Mrs. Chapman was entombed on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the Calvary Memorial Gardens in Ogelthorpe, GA.
