Claude Lake Dominick

Claude Lake Dominick, 79, of Prosperity, widower of Fredna Cook Dominick, died Monday, October 16, 2017, at his residence.

Born on June 2, 1938, in Prosperity, he was the son of the late Claude William and Lois Lake Dominick. He served in the S.C. National Guard and was the owner of Claude Lake Dominick Contractors. Mr. Dominick was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and formerly served on the Newberry County Council.

He is survived by his son, Dr. Wayde (Sally) Dominick of Chapin; daughter, Pam (Jeff) Bartley of Prosperity; grandchildren, Cody (Jessica) Dominick of Columbia, Tim Dominick and Caroline Dominick both of Chapin and Erica Bartley of Prosperity.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. R. T. Bowling and Rev. Jimmy Counts. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00- 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 80 Zion Circle, Prosperity, SC 29127.
