Colleen Biehl

Juanita Colleen (Richards) Biehl, age 70, of Chapin, SC passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  

Born December 1, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Nora (Davis) Richards.  

Colleen was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.  She was very proud to be the first in the family to earn a college degree and graduate with honors from the Community College of Allegheny County.  She later chose hospice care as her profession and retired from Medical Service of America (MSA).  Colleen’s favorite past times included reading the Bible, caring for the ‘Bi-Lo cats’ that she rescued, cruising, traveling, and enjoying nature.

She is survived by husband Joseph A. Biehl, Jr.; sons Joseph M. Biehl (Renee) of Elizabeth Township, PA and Timothy L. Biehl (Tricia), of North Huntingdon, PA; daughter Cynthia L. Kesavan; ten grandchildren:  Joseph M. Biehl, Jr., Jerry L. Weatherford III (Stephanie), Joshua A. Weatherford, Chelsea Biehl, Kelsey Gulbransen, Jacob Biehl, Aidan Biehl, Ava Biehl, Bentley Biehl, and Jackson Kesavan; one step-grandchild:  Richard Coleman (Alyssa) and four step great-grandchildren:  Jacob Munoz, Michelle Munoz, Melody Coleman, and Richard Coleman; Siblings Mack Richards of Reading, PA, Nora Darlene Adams (Wilson) of Four Oaks, NC, Larry Richards (Geri) of Maricopa, AZ, and sister-in-law, Cissy Biehl of Cheswick, PA.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Jeffrey Alan Biehl.
