Cynthia Koethe

Eva Cynthia Lake Koethe, 63, of Columbia, widow of Robert Louis Koethe, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on February 8, 1947, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Henry Thomas and Sarah Cynthia Bramlett Lake. She was a former employee of the Dept. of Mental Health and was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are her step-daughters, Candace Croteau of Maui, HI and Diane Polito of Jackson, NJ and cousins, Ellen Clarke of Columbia, Sara B. Metz of Greer, Frank Bramlett of Chester and Alice B. Rawls of Chapin

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Silverstreet, S.C. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
