Daryl Lee Longshore

Daryl Lee Longshore, 68, of Little Mountain, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Prisma Richland Heart Hospital.

Born on November 2, 1956, in Newberry, he was the son of the late Bobby and Patsy Davis Longshore. He spent much of his childhood with his dear uncle and aunt, Douglas and Carolyn Mills. Mr. Longshore worked in law enforcement for many years and later retired from General Information Service (GIS).

Mr. Longshore enjoyed fishing, going to the drag strip, and watching NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially his time with his son frying turkeys and grilling

Daryl is survived by his son, Andy (Lindsey) Longshore of Prosperity; a daughter, Brittney (Daniel) Fulmer of Clinton and grandchildren, Lainey and Evan Longshore and Doug and Carolyn Fulmer. He is also survived by a brother, Bobby Burleson and family of North Carolina and a special friend Kristen Harmon.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 28, 2025, at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Steve Counts.
