Dave "Pete" Frady

Dave C. “Pete” Frady, 79, of Newberry, died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at his residence.

Born on November 8, 1936 in Nebo, N.C., he was a son of the late Worth and Rachel Moody Frady. He retired from Flour-Daniel Construction Company. His passion was his 1934 Plymouth Coupe with which he would enter car shows and parades. He participated with the Newberry Car Buffs. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Frady is survived by a son, David Kenneth (Jennifer) Frady of Hardeeville; a daughter, Joanne Rachel (Kyle) Frady Fulmer of Pomaria; brother, Charlie Frady of Georgia; grandchildren, Heather Dawn Nobles, Kayla Austin Frady, Kyle Daniel Fulmer, Jr. and McKenna Grace Frady and his best friend Bob Haskin.

Visitation will be held at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00- 8:00 pm. An informal gathering of family and friends will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 163 Arrow Shores in Chapin.  Memorials may be made toward his funeral expenses at 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
