David Hatchell

David Clifton Hatchell, 45, of Newberry, widower of Debbie Willard Hatchell, died Saturday, January 22, 2011.

He was born on August 8, 1965, in Sumter and was an employee of Kiswire and a member of Newberry Church of God.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Gladden Hatchell of Newberry and father and step-mother, William Scottie and Millie Hatchell of Newberry; sons, Todd (Ashley) Hatchell of Society Hill and Dustin Hatchell of Newberry; sisters, Elaine Hatchell and Carol (Curtis) McMurtry both of Newberry; a brother, Ricky Hatchell of Clinton and grandson, Brayden Todd Hatchell.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Cannon’s Creek Prosperity ARP Church Cemetery by the Rev. Mike Shirley. Visitation will be one hour before the service in Cannon’s Creek Prosperity ARP Church. The family will be at the home of his father, 214 Molly's Rock Road, Newberry, SC. Memorials may be made toward his funeral expenses c/o McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
