David Brian Lathrop

David Brian Lathrop, 18, of Pomaria, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at his home.

Born on December 7, 2004, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Glenn Edward and Crystal Kingsmore Lathrop.  David attended the Newberry County Adult Education program from which he obtained his GED in 2021.  He was a very caring individual who always wanted to help everyone and attempted to fix the problems of others. David was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

David is survived by a brother, Robert Glenn Lathrop of Pomaria; a sister, Sophia Ann Lathrop of Lugoff; paternal grandparents, Del and Sandy Erickson of Pomaria; maternal grandmother, Barbara Kingsmore of Lugoff.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, David Henry Lathrop, Sr. and maternal grandfather, Brian Rayford Kingsmore.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 13, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev.
