David McCollum

Olin David McCollum, 71, of Prosperity, died Friday, March 24, 2017, at Palmetto Health Baptist.

He was born on September 4, 1945, in Newberry to the late O.D. McCollum and Dorothy Millstead McCollum Turner. He was retired as parts manager with Car Quest of Raleigh, NC.

Mr. McCollum is survived by his wife, Patricia Brady McCollum; sons, Alan (Dawn) McCollum of Easley and Brent (Elisabeth) McCollum of Phoenix, MD; daughters, Ree (Will) Dominick of Prosperity; grandchildren, Tyler (Amber) Kesler, Taylor (Blake) Patterson, Hunter McCollum and Caleb McCollum and his special canine companion, Jake. Mr. McCollum was predeceased by his step-father, Tom Turner and a daughter, Damie Ann McCollum.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
