Deborah Stevens

Deborah Jane Bailey Stevens, 57, of Pomaria, died Sunday, January 26, 2014, at her residence.

Born on October 3, 1956, in Kilmichael, MS, she was a daughter of Doris Cox Bailey and the late Earl Bailey. She was co-founder and vice president of Stevens Enterprises, Inc. and attended Heart Ministries. She enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren.

She is survived in addition to her mother, Doris Bailey of Amory, MS, by her husband, Perry B. Stevens; a son, Alton Stevens of Newberry; a daughter, Elizabeth Stevens of Newberry; sisters, Sherrie Bailey of Pomaria and Susan Bell of Amory, MS; brothers, Earl Bailey, Jr of Lake, MS and David Bailey of Winona, MS; grandchildren, Jaydence Caldwell and Rio Caldwell.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, January 30, 2014, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Harry Werts. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648 or to Heart Ministries, PO Box 582, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pallbearers will be Glenn Roberts, Rio Caldwell, David Bailey, Miguel Jimenez, Ken Sanders and Richard Burke.
