Debra Boozer Morris

Debra Boozer Morris, 71, of Prosperity, widow of John Wayne Morris, died Thursday, December 15, 2022, at her residence.

Born on December 3, 1951, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Doris Cook Boozer. She had worked at the Mid Carolina Country Club Restaurant and was a homemaker. Mrs. Morris was a member of Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church.

She is survived by sons, Chad (Tammy) Morris of Pomaria and Andy (Michelle) Morris of Prosperity; a daughter, Becky (Donnie) Forbis of Newberry; a brother, Jimmy (Margaret) Boozer of Prosperity; grandchildren, Sam Morris, Amanda Morris, Tripp Forbis, Aubree Forbis, Darian Morris, Melissa Morris and fiance, Tyler Bouknight and Benji Morris. Mrs. Morris was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Bennett and a brother, Stanley Boozer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
