Della Rexrode

Della Hinson Rexrode, 89, of Chapin, widow of George W. Rexrode, died Friday, January 12, 2018, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on May 19, 1928, in Richburg, she was a daughter of the late William Leard and Mattie Garrison Hinson. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Lois Hughes of Goose Creek; a brother, Lensie L. Hinson of Chester; grandchildren, Denise Branham of Blythewood and William C. Jackson of Summerville; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 15, 2018, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1:30 pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 80 Zion Circle, Prosperity, SC 29127.
