Donald Vanderford

Donald Roy Vanderford, 80, of Newberry, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on March 12, 1943, in Newberry, he was a son of the late William Thomas Vanderford, Sr. and Mildred Hentz Vanderford. Donald served in the US Navy and retired from the City of Mt. View in California.

He is survived by a sister, Lillian Price; a niece, Amy Price, nephews, Tommy Price, Rion Price, Jr. and Doug Vanderford; great-nephews, Devon Price and Ryan Vanderford and great-nieces, Josie Price and Kyleigh Vanderford.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
