Doris S. Lominick

Doris Shealy Lominick, 93, of Whitmire, widow of Arvid Ray Lominick, died Sunday, April 3, 2022, at her residence.

Born on December 25, 1928, in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Alvin and Nannie Ruth Harmon Shealy.  She retired from Regal Textile, was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Lominick is survived by a son, Alvin Ray (Geri) Lominick of Greenwood; a daughter, Lynne Ruth Lominick of Whitmire; grandchildren, Leslie L. (Chip) Davenport, Alyson (Brett) Waters and Shannon (Nick) Mountz all of Greenwood and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Virginia Rae L. Boland.

Funeral services will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm by the Rev. Paul Williams.  Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 1:15 - 2:00 pm Thursday at the church.
