Dorothy F. Crapps

Dorothy Fallaw Crapps, 95, of Columbia, widow of Olen R. “Dick” Crapps, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at White Oak Manor-Newberry.

Born on February 10, 1919, in Aiken, she was a daughter of the late Eunice G. Fallaw, Sr. and Katie Garvin Fallaw. She was a member of Killian Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Thomas O. (Sue) Crapps of Chapin; a grandson, Richard (Lisa) Chapman of Columbia; great-granddaughters, Giuliana and Penelope Chapman and a sister, Louise Amaker.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, July 25, 2014, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery in Columbia. Memorials may be made to Killian Baptist Church, 577 Killian Road, Columbia, SC 29203 or Chapin United Methodist Church, 415 Lexington Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036 or the charity of one's choice.
