Dorothy L. Senn

Dorothy Lominack Senn, 89, of Silverstreet, widow of James Alan Senn, Jr. died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 10, 1926 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Ila L. and Angie Ringer Lominack. She was a homemaker and also worked with her husband on their dairy farm. She was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. She loved church league softball and the Atlanta Braves.

She is survived by sons, James Alan Senn, Jr. (Barbara) of Silverstreet and Steven Douglas Senn (Julianne) of Newberry; daughters, Brenda S. Parker (Ronnie) of Graniteville and Vickie S. Davenport of Silverstreet; a sister, Elizabeth Hayes of Newberry; a son-in-law, Kenneth Graham of Pomaria; her caregiver, Cynthia Suber; dear friends, Beatrice Riddle and Mary Ann Dennis; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy S. Graham and brothers, Everett H. Lominack and Roy Lominack.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Smyrna Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dan Ratchford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Memorials may be made to Smyrna Presbyterian Church, 32 Smyrna Road, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pall bearers will be Kenny Graham, Jr., Jacob Graham, Jackson Graham, Travis Griffin, Clifford Griffin, and Tim Amick. Honorary pall bearers will be the Deacons of Smyrna Presbyterian Church.
