Dorothy Merrymon

Dorothy Anderson Merrymon, 93, formerly of Miami, FL, widow of Jack Eugene Merrymon, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, at White Oak Manor.

Born on November 2, 1920, in Hammond, IN, she was a daughter of the late John and Marry Derring Anderson. She was retired from Covinant College and was a very active member of the Presbyterian Church of America.

Mrs. Merrymon is survived by a son, John Merrymon of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Betty Lyman of Kingman, AZ and Diana Matson of Greenville; grandchildren, Kerri M. Myers, Georgianna Willard Rychoff, Dorothy Coleman, Bill Matson and Linda Liebler; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Sherron.
