Dorothy E. Roberts

Dorothy Eller Roberts, 80, of Prosperity, widow of Steven Wayne Roberts, died Sunday, June 5, 2022, at her residence.

Born on November 15, 1941, in Morristown, TN, she was a daughter of the late Fred Franklin and Charlotte Belle Skeen Eller. She had retired from textiles having worked at American Fiber and Finishing. Mrs. Roberts attended Freedom Baptist Church and was very active in all aspects of church ministry which included playing musical instruments and singing with other members of the congregation.

She is survived by a daughter Kitsy (Clarence) Wilbanks; a son, Forrest D. (Darlene) Buttry, Jr.; a sister, Leora Drummonds; brothers, Ray Samuel Eller and Johnny Franklin Eller; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

A 'Celebration of Life' will be held this Sunday June 12th, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Freedom Baptist Church in Newberry, SC. A second celebration will be held at the Berger residence at 7250 Briarwood Drive in Talbott, TN on Monday June 13th, 2022 from 3:00-6:00 pm.
