Dorothy Stoudemire

Dorothy Ann Greenwood “Dot” Stoudemire, 89, of Little Mountain, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

She was born on May 22, 1928, to the late Pearl Cannon Greenwood Sease and Alfred Greenwood. Her step-father was the late Allison W. Sease. Dot was employed by Ellett Brothers, the Veterans Administration Regional Office where she received numerous performance and suggestions awards, and the U.S. Postal Service as the Postmaster in Little Mountain. Mrs. Stoudemire was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, George Marion Stoudemire; children, Mickey Stoudemire and Jerry (Faye) Stoudemire; grandchildren, Doug (Kim) Stoudemire, Anne (Robbie) Dunton, Michael (Stacy) Stoudemire, Jr. and Mary Ann (Justen) Gray; great-grandchildren, Taylor Dunton, Aindrea Dunton (Philippe) Hochadel , Bryce Stoudemire, Noah Gray, Kyla Gray, George Stoudemire III, Cole Stoudemire, and Cannon Gray; sisters-in-law, Drucie S. Counts and Rose S. Towles. Dot was predeceased by her parents, step-father, and brother, Donald Bruce Greenwood.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
