Dorothy W. Abrams

Dorothy Wicker Abrams, 95, widow of Bruce Abrams, of Newberry, died Thursday, March 12, 2015, at her residence.

Born on April 24, 1919, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Vera Lominick Wicker. She was retired from Whitten Center. Mrs. Abrams was a member of St. Philip's Lutheran Church where she was involved with the Joy Fellowship, the B Sunday School class and WELCA.

Mrs. Abrams is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Stella Kibler and a brother, Nolan Wicker.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 15, 2015, at St. Philip's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Terry Amick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 2461 St. Philip's Road, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pallbearers will be Russell Kibler, Anthony Pelton, George Bollibon, Blake Kibler, Dillon Pelton,William Cromer and Brad Abrams.
