Dorothy Wells

Dorothy Mae Scarborough Wells, 86, of Pikeville, NC, widow of James Nathaniel Wells, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at her residence.

Born on July 4, 1928, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Reba Scarborough Shealy.

She is survived by daughters, Margaret Ann Williamson of Columbia and Samantha Ann Jones of Pikeville, NC; five grandchildren and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, James Robert Wells and Robert Nathaniel Wells and a daughter, Dorothy Faye Polson.

Graveside services will held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Dan Lewis. Memorials may be made to your local humane society.
