Drake Semino

Richard Drake Semino, 38, of Lexington, passed away on March 2, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.

Drake was born in Beaufort, SC to Margaret Ann (Nowlan) Bedenbaugh and F. David Semino on March 25, 1976. He married Jessica Renee Vieira on October 19, 2013 in Prosperity, SC. A graduate of Piedmont Technical College, he was a member of Lambda Chi Nu, Phi Theta Cappa and president of Student Nurses' Association. Drake worked as a Dialysis Registered Nurse for Fresenius for four years.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Semino; 10 month old daughter, Juliana Semino; two step-daughters, Jadyn and Joelle Vieira; brother, Mark (Lauren) Semino; father and step-mother, Dave and Pennye Semino; step-father, Robert Bedenbaugh; maternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth (Nowlan) Fields and many uncles, aunts, nieces a nephew, and cousins who loved him.

Drake is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Marjorie Alison (Keels) Semino and Francis Xavier Semino, maternal grandfather, Dr. F. B. Nowlan, mother, Margaret Ann Bedenbaugh and niece Ashley Semino.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Macedonia Lutheran Church by the Rev. Randy Derrick. The family will receive friends following the service.
