Edith Adams

Edith Ann Adams, 76, of Little River, S.C, died peacefully, Monday, June 10, 2013 at Grand Strand Regional Hospital with her daughters at her side. Born in Munich Germany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Kaiser.

She was retired from Gold Kist in Alabama having work for a number of years in Newberry at Louis Rich. She was a member of He Is Risen Lutheran Church in North Myrtle Beach and active in homeless charities.

Surviving are two daughters, Sylvia MacFarlane of Newberry, S.C. and Shelly Adams of Norwalk, Connecticut and a sister, Evelyn Borghs of Grainau, Germany. She was preceded in death by her son, Stuart Jeff Adams.

Ms. Adams requested no formal services. Private interment will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jennifer Rogers, 303 W.
