Edna Woodall

Edna Louise Woodall, 91, of Newberry, widow of Loyd Woodall, died Monday, March 6, 2017.

Born on September 14, 1925, in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late John C. McPherson and Louise Epps Grice. She was a graduate of Slater-Marietta High School of Slater, SC and a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church of Greenville.

She is survived by a son, John S. Woodall of Greenville; a daughter, Jacqueline Johnson of Columbia; a sister, Elizabeth Edwards of Mooresboro, NC; a brother, Harold (Aitanga) Grice of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Mickey Lee (Andrea) Johnson, Jr., Delaina (Mac) McKinney and Reni (Kevin) Cooley; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Cora and Laurel McKinney, Timmy and Stella Johnson, Emmali, Olivia and Mason Cooley and Alexis Bannister. Mrs. Woodall was predeceased by a sister, Doris Harter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 9, 2017, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Tim Brokaw. Entombment will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Rocky Creek Baptist Church Senior Ministry, 1801 Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
