Eleanor Martin Wactor

Eleanor Jane Martin Wactor, 76, of Orangeburg, widow of the late William G. Wactor, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

Born on August 25, 1936, in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late William Rudolph and Melzie Smith Martin. She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church and was retired from Carpenter Technologies.

Mrs. Wactor is survived by daughters, Cindy Wactor (Ronnie Russell) and Linda Wactor of Orangeburg, Tracy Wactor and Tammy Wactor both of Anderson and Pamela (Jamie) Dozier of Georgetown; grandchildren, Hannah Dozier, Rachel Dozier and Will Dozier; a sister, Jackie (Jack) Allsion of Columbia; a brother, Jerry (Helen) Martin of Newberry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 10, 2013, at Northgate Baptist Church in Orangeburg officiated by the Rev. Tant Ehrhardt. Visitation will be from 9:30 am – until the hour of service at the church. Memorials may be made to Northgate Baptist Church, 850 Woodbine Drive, Orangeburg, Sc 29115. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm in Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry.
