Elizabeth Ophelia Cannon Frick, 79, of Little Mountain, widow of Oscar Wyman Frick, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Lexington Medical Center.
Born on August 18, 1933, in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Forrest and Bertha Frick Cannon. She was retired from MEPCO (formerly GE) of Irmo and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where she had been a former member of WELCA.
Mrs. Frick is survived by sons, Derrill Frick, Keith (Lisa) Frick and Cary (Donna) Frick all of Little Mountain; grandchildren, Brad Youngblood, Derek Frick, Nicole Frick, Cory Frick and Taylor Frick; a brother-in-law, Ethan Shealy of Chapin and a special friend, Debbie Stafford. She was predeceased by a sister, Zeita Shealy and a brother, Edgar Ray Cannon.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at St. Peter Lutheran Church by the Rev. Dave Tholstrup. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church Building Fund, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC 29036.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Cannon, Brad Youngblood, Ben Hayes, Daniel Hayes, Donnie Frick, and Kenny Stafford.
