Elizabeth M. Cromer

Elizabeth McCumber Cromer, 80, of Kinards, widow of Norman O. Cromer, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at White Oak Manor.

Born on August 2, 1934, in Joanna, she was the daughter of the late Charlie R. and Myrtle Knight McCumber. She worked at Joanna Cotton Mill and was a member of Bush River Baptist Church where she was in the Martha Franks Sunday School Class and the WMU.

Mrs. Cromer is survived by a daughter, Janice C. Hudson of Kinards; a son, Michael E. (Risa) Cromer of Newberry;a grandson, Jason E. (Jessica) Osborne and great-grandchildren, Abby and Will Osborne and Chris Wilson. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert C. Hudson and brother, Ralph E. McCumber.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Bush River Baptist Church by the Rev. Brian Preston. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
