Ella Judy

Ella Lee Duvall Wicker Judy, 84, of Newberry, died Friday, March 20, 2009 at her residence.

Born on September 29, 1924 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Adgie Newton and Dollie Davenport Duvall. Mrs. Judy was retired from Kendall Company-Oakland Plant and a member of College Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughters, Dollie Jean Colson of Saluda and Virginia Gray of Newberry; a sister, Mary Billingsley of Silverstreet; brothers, Virgil Duvall and Lee Andrew Duvall both of Newberry; a grandson and a great-grandson.

Mrs. Judy was predeceased husbands, Haskell Eugene Wicker and Edgar J. Judy. She was also predeceased by a sister, Virginia Medlock and a brother, Adgie Newton Duvall, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Ken Ferrell. The family will be at the residence where they will receive friends.
