Eloise McCullough Taylor, 88, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at her residence surrounded by family.
Born January 6, 1934 in Saluda, SC to the late Johnny Ralph and Sara Boatwright McCullough. Eloise worked at Mollohon Mill for many years, ran Taylor Boutique and later retired from Whitten Center. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Eloise enjoyed working in the yard with her flowers, crocheting, reading and genealogy research. She was a former member of the Mid Carolina Twirlers.
She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Anne (Randy) Kirkland of Leesville, Evelyn Riley (Bo) Wicker of Prosperity and Sharon Riley (Brad) McCollum of Tupelo, MS; a son, Ronald Allen (Cindy) Riley of Saluda; a sister, Elaine McCullough Hughes of West Columbia; eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren and special friends, Melanie Sheppard and Tracy Cannon. She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Edward Taylor; a brother, Ralph Hazel McCullough and sisters, Bernice McCullough, Catherine McCullough and Ann McCullough.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, April 11, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Memorials may be made to the Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints, 2112 Glenn Street Ext., Newberry, SC 29108.
