Emanuel Strauss

Emanuel Maximillian Strauss, 91, of Huntsville, AL, widower of Constance Wilbanks Strauss, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his residence.

Born on May 26, 1918, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Martin Livingston and Annie Bobb Strauss. Mr. Strauss was a veteran of World War II. He was at the Korean Armistise during peace negotiations. He was a faithful husband, father and servant to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Survivors include a son, Warren M. Strauss; a daughter-in-law, Martha K. Strauss and grandsons, William Strauss and Grant Strauss, all of Vienna, Virginia; friend, companion and caregiver, Sandra Brodie and her husband, Alan, of Meridianville.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010, at Newberry Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Weatherly Heights Baptist Church, 1306 Cannstatt Drive, Huntsville, AL 35803.
