Ethel Mae Bush

Ethel Mae Covan Bush, 79, of Ninety Six, widow of John Carroll Bush, died Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Ware Shoals Manor.

Born on September 26, 1931, in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late George Ellis and Roy Jenkins Covan.

Mrs. Bush is survived by sons, Jimmy Lee Manley, John Allen Bush, Cecil Lee Bush, and Charles Richard Bush; daughters, Jeanette Head and Donna Jean Garcia; a sister, Patricia Paquin; a brother, Eugene Covan; seven grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Bobby Mabry. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association, Development Dept, 27001 Agoura Road, Suite 250, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301.
