Eula Mae Wicker Dominick, 71, of Newberry, widow of Jacob James Dominick, died Saturday, October 4, 2014.
Born on January 16, 1943 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Walter Jake and Ollie Bell Mills Wicker Jones. She was employed by Damon International and Wal-Mart for a number of years and she was a member of St. Philip's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by sons, Bobby (Paula) Dominick of Whitmire and Mark Dominick of Newberry; a daughter, Barbara (Mark) McMurtury of Whitmire; a daughter-in-law, Abby (Derek) Lasater of Newberry; a brother, Joe Robert Wicker of Newberry; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Phillip) Wicker, Matthew Dominick, Jennifer (Kenny) Gillespie, and Daniel McMurtury; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Kenny, and Tye Gillespie. She was pre-deceased by a son, James Dominick; a sister, Polly Richardson; and a brother, Walter “Junebug” Wicker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at St. Philip's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Terry Amick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Philip's Lutheran Church, Ramp fund, 2461 St. Philip's Church Road, Newberry, SC 29108.
Active pallbearers will be Gerald Farr, Edward Richardson, Earl Smith, Virgil Smith, Mack Vaughn, Joey Wicker and Steve Wicker.
