Eunice Mae Bobb Rinehart, 91, of Newberry, widow of Frank “Sam” Rinehart, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 14, 1924, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Chester and Lola Ethel Long Bobb. She attended Union and Prosperity Schools and retired from Kendall Company, Mollohon Plant. She was a member of Epting United Methodist Church.
She was a strong, independent, honest, hardworking, dependable, warm loving person completely devoted to her family. (And a great cook) She selflessly provided for her parents, husband, son and grandchildren in their time of need. She could always be depended on to help her family when “their hands were warm”. Secure in her Christian faith, without regret, without complaint, loved by her family and friends, a beautiful women with a remarkable soul has passed. She will be missed.
Mrs. Rinehart is survived by her grandson, Brian Todd (Christine) Rinehart; granddaughter, Candice Johnson; great-grandson, Trey Johnson; nieces and nephews, Ronnie (Sybil) Horton, Carlton Lemmond (Debra), Alsa Sanders, Glenn Hughes, Raymond Hughes, Paul Wicker, Bruce (Dorothy) Connelly, Harold (Sadie) Kinard, Lee (Barbara) Johnson and Lena Kerby. She was predeceased by a son, Randy Wayne Rinehart and siblings, Wilbur Eugene Bobb, Ethel Wicker and Gladys Hughes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Epting United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Epting United Methodist Church, 1401 Milligan Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
Active pallbearers will be Tee Bartley, Ronnie Horton, Carlton Lemmond, Doug Rinehart, Paul Wicker and Gene Crocker.
