F. Lewis Shealy

F. Lewis Shealy, 81, of Peak, widower of Ann Derrick Shealy, died June 9, 2016 at his residence.

Born on March 2, 1935 in Little Mountain, he was a son of the late Willie Ray and Mildred Enlow Shealy. He was a graduate of Little Mountain High School and retired from South Carolina Electric and Gas. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church and the Peak Masonic Lodge. He was President of the Peak Recreation Commission and since 1970 served as Mayor for the town of Peak.

He is survived by a son, Calvin Shealy of Peak; a daughter LuAnn Graul (Doug) of Irmo; grandchildren, William Douglass Graul, Sarah Edward “Eddy” Graul, LilyAnn Frances Graul, and Riley Grace Graul. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Ray "Billy" Shealy.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 13, 2016 at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church by the Rev. Beverly Aurand. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church or to the Peak Cemetery Fund, PO Box 39, Peak, SC 29122.
