Faye Sease

Faye Metts Sease, 76, of Prosperity, widow of John Oliver “Ollie” Sease, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on March 16, 1937, in Prosperity, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Blease “C.B.” and Lila Mae Wise Metts. She was retired from the Newberry County Public School as a lunchroom manager. Mrs. Sease was a member of Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church where she was a member of LCW # 1. She was a die hard Clemson Tiger Fan and was a proud member of IPTAY.

She is survived by a son, Harold Sease of Prosperity; a daughter, Sallie Sease Taylor of Prosperity; a granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Taylor; devoted friends, Joe, Brenda and Stevie Franklin and Barbara Johnson and devoted canine companion, Brandi.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2013, at Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church by the Rev. Floyd Sides. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church, 3074 Bachman Chapel Road, Prosperity, SC 29127 or to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Suite 301, Cayce, SC 29033.

Active pallbearers will be Benji Sease, Greg Sease, Randy Sease, Johnie Gray, Steve McKean, and Jerry Myers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brunell Gray, Mary Bookman, Mr. & Mrs. Herbert Payton, Mr. & Mrs. Wayne Kinard and Mrs. & Mrs. Bryan Amick.
