William Felix Livingston, 84, of Pomaria, widower of Mary Bundrick Livingston, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.
Born on February 3, 1930, in Pomaria, he was a son of the late Horace Asbury Livingston, Sr. and Essie Long Livingston. He was a retired builder and farmer. Mr. Livingston served in the Army from 1951 – 1953, was a former member of the Pomaria Rescue Squad and a founding member of the Consolidated 5 Fire Department. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a brother, Virgil (Ann) Livingston of Pomaria; sisters, Frances (Eugene) Fulmer of Marion, Magdalene Rikard of Batesburg and Llewella Fulmer of Pomaria; a brother-in-law, Odell Ruff of Newberry; a sister-in-law, Diane Livingston of Pomaria and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Livingston was predeceased by brothers, Asbury Livingston, Leander Livingston and David Livingston and sisters, Florence Haltiwanger and Lynn Ruff.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 17, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church by the Rev. Arden Hallman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Consolidated 5 Fire Department or Pomaria Rescue Squad.
Active pallbearers will be Carl Fulmer, Odell Fulmer, Todd Livingston, Johnny Riddle, Russell Shealy and Craig Hipp.
