Florence Marie Cutshall Bradley, 80, of Newberry, widow of Ben Bradley, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Palmetto Health Baptist.

Born on January 30, 1936, in Madison County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Cleta Griffin Cutshall. She was predeceased by her husband, Ben Bradley who she married on June 3, 1952. Together they shared 58 years of marriage. She retired from Wal Mart after 17 years and later worked as a home health care giver. Mrs. Bradley was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a special aunt. She loved to cook for family and friends. She also looked forward to visiting with family and friends and especially on Saturdays and holidays the special times shared with her family. During her life she was known as a wise owl because of her wisdom and knowledge of how to handle so many situations and always loved giving advise. Mrs. Bradley loved her flowers and birds especially hummingbirds and red birds. She was a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bradley is survived sons, Randy (Bonnie) Bradley and Danny (Debbie) Bradley; a brother, Clifford (Ruby) Cutshall; a sister, Nancy Nobles; grandchildren, Kristina (Jared) Long, Christopher Bradley, Chris Cannon, Vanessa Cannon and Jennifer Lipson; great-grandchildren, Hudson Long, Paxton Long, Caroline Lipson and Ella Lipson. She was predeceased by a great-grandaughter, Maci Long.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Glenn Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Michael Whitesides. Burial will follow in Bush River Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Glenn Street Baptist Church, 300 Glenn Street, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pallbearers will be Mark Cutshall, Tim Cutshall, Travis Griffin, Clifford Griffin, Leslie Ammons and Chris Bradley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Willie and Elizabeth Summers, John Earl and Dannette Smith, Tom and Barbara Riser and Julie Ammons.

The family would like to thank Dr. Eddie Williams and his staff along with the compassionate caregivers at Palmetto Health Baptist for their loving care.
