Florence Senn

Florence Walker Senn, 85, of Newberry, died Sunday, September 10, 2023 at White Oak Manor.

Born on April 30, 1938 in North Augusta, she was a daughter of the late Tommy and Della Boozer Walker. She was a homemaker and worked in her family's business, Senn Maintenance for many years. She was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church where she was also a member of the Ester Circle. Florence loved to garden and took great pride in taking care of her yard.

She is survived by her husband, G. Sedley Senn; sons, Milton Senn and his wife Stacy of Newberry, and Barry Senn of Newberry; a sister, Alma Kay Waldrop of Newberry; grandchildren, Miranda, R.J. and his wife Candace, Brooke, Della, and Derek; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Carson, Ryan, Addy, and Sullivan.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Christina Senn and by her brother, Tommy “Buddy” Walker.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 4:00PM Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in the Smyrna Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Dan Ratchford. The family will receive friends following the service.
