Floyd Julian Walker, 76, of Summerville, died Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the Summerville Agape Hospice House.
Born on October 20, 1944, in Newberry, he was the son of the late Julian Webster and Mary Lollin Walker. He was retired as a Sergeant from the US Army and served in the South Carolina National Guard. SGT Walker was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Mundy Walker; daughters, Ella (Eddie) Needlans, Betty J. (Steven) Williamson and Mary Margaret (James) Harding; sisters, Lucille Anderson and Peggy Smith; a step-brother, Charles Taylor; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Iona Lucy Lee Walker.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, 900 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
Active pallbearers will be Wayne Joseph Dryden, David Wayne Bradshaw II, Zachary Paul Pope, Steven r. Williamson, Christopher Lee Weathersbee and Thomas Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Jay Harding.
