Frances Dwiggins

Frances Gantt Dwiggins, 82, of Chapin, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Prisma Health Baptist.

Born on September 25, 1941, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Anderson and Virginia Greene Gantt. She had worked as an administrative assistant for the SC DHEC, SC Dept of Agriculture and lastly for the SC Cosmetology Board. Mrs. Dwiggins was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. She and her husband loved to camp and she always found her “happy place” when they were camping at the beach.

Mrs. Dwiggins is survived by her husband, Bobby Ray Dwiggins; step-sons, Floyd Dwiggins and Brian (Cristy) Dwiggins and a step-daughter, Cynthia Dwiggins. She was predeceased by sisters, Nancy Younginer and Doris Mann.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Road, Chapin, SC 29036.
