Frances Mack

Frances Ruff Mack, 90, of Newberry, widow of Rufus Marion Mack, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025. 

Born on March 2, 1934, in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late L.W. and Grace Banks Ruff. Frances had worked for Damon International and was a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church where she had served on the hostess committee. 

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa (Jimmy) Dominick of Newberry; a son, Dean (Annette) Mack of Prosperity; a brother, Mitchell Ruff of Newberry; grandchildren, Travis (Beth) Tarver, David (Courtney) Dominick, Cory (Amanda) Mack, Brittany (Corey) Dominick, Jeremy (Linsey) Dominick; twelve great-grandchildren and one on the way in May; a bonus grandson, Gabriell Medlock and a bonus daughter, Karen Wyatt. 

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, February 3, 2025, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jeff O'Dell. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Glenn Street Baptist Church, 300 Glenn Street, Newberry, SC 29108. 

Active pallbearers will be Corey Mack, David Dominick, Gabriel Medlock,Jeremy Dominick, Gaven Medlock and Lane Dominick.
