Freddie Gray

Freddie Louis Gray, 68, of Clinton died Thursday, November 15, 2018, at the Hospice House of Laurens County.

Born on September 24, 1950 in Abbeville, he was a son of the late Leland Marcell and Freda Louise Hartsell Gray. He had been employed with Georgia Pacific and was an Independent Holiness.

Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Sonja Robinson Gray; a sister, Suzanne (Stan) Shealy of Prosperity; brothers, Joey (Marilyn) Gray and Walter “Chief” Gray both of Pomaria; a sister-in-law, Virginia Gray; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Leland "Jackie" Gray.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Cameron Levi. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
