Geneve Graham Morse, 81, of Pomaria, died Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 2, 1935, in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Minnie Berley Graham. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church where she was involved with the Go Group, taught Sunday School for many years and in 2015 received the Faithful Servant Award. Mrs. Morse was a member of the Newberry Roadrunners.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby E. Morse; daughter, Jenny Lynn (Danny) Stone of Pomaria; sisters, Willie Mae (Robert) Lindler of Pomaria and Polly Sharpe of Blythewood; grandchildren, Lori (John) Frampton and Eric (Melissa) Martin; great-grandchildren, John Edward Frampton, William Martin and Emily Martin; sisters-in-law, Ruby Mae Graham and Annie Laura Graham both of Pomaria and Mary Frances Graham of Summerville. Mrs. Morse was predeceased by a daughter, Beverly Jean Morse, brothers, Hubert Graham, Raymond Graham, Virgil Graham and Cecil Graham and a great-granddaughter, Averie Frampton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Albert Cox and Rev. Daniel Eplee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the church building fund, 331 Holloway Street, Pomaria, SC 29126.

Active pallbearers will be Todd Lever, John Frampton, Eric Martin, Derrill Graham, John Hall and Shane Livingston.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Steve Madden and the staff of the Newberry Oncology Clinic, Dr. Alan Paysinger, Dr. Thomas Bradberry, Dr. Mark Davis and the staff on the third floor and in the ICU of Newberry County Memorial Hospital for their loving care.
