Genevieve T. Senn

Genevieve Thomasson Senn, 93, of Silverstreet, widow of Angus Daniel Senn, Sr., died Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on January 29, 1923 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Carter and Madena Scott Thomasson. She was a devoted wife to Angus and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by step-sons, Danny Senn of Newberry, Grady Senn and Henry (Lisha) Senn both of Silverstreet; grandchildren, Jeremy (Maggie) Senn and Hayley (Patrick) Hecht; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Jackson and Madeline; caregivers, Euneatha Cherry, Hattie Wilson, Frances Suber and Sally Cannon and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Senn was predeceased by a sister, Andrena Oswald and brothers, Richard, Carl, Edward and Frank Thomasson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2016, at Trinity United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ken Carter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at her home and will receive friends Thursday from 6:00- 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1167 Trinity Church Road, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Senn, Patrick Hecht, Foster Senn, Wilson Senn, Mike Alvarez, Dale Shealy and Patrick Thomasson.
