Eddie Gerald Graham, 80, of Pomaria, died Monday, July 4, 2016, at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 29, 1936, in Pomaria, he was a son of the late John Adam and Frances Wicker Graham. He was retired as the Newberry County Public Works Director. Mr. Graham was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church where he was involved with the Go Group.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, papa, pappy, and pa. He loved his family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, going to blue grass festivals with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sue Rauch Graham; a daughter, Tracie (Forrest) LaCons of Pomaria; a sister, Evelyn Frick of Little Mountain; grandchildren, Chris (Kristen) LaCons, Jessica (Daniel) Hesson, Adam Graham, Austin Graham and Audrey (Allen) Needham; great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Gage Hesson, Graham and Carter LaCons and Grayson and Ezra Graham. He was predeceased by a son, Steven Eugene Graham.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 8, 2016, at New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Daniel Eplee and Rev. Richard Goldie. Burial will follow in Graham Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, c/o Robert Davis, 236 Graham Cemetery Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.
Active pallbearers will be Daniel Hesson, Chris LaCons, Adam Graham, Austin Graham, Joey Rauch, Edward Graham and Tim Bedenbaugh.
